The Cascade Internet Exchange (CIX) is a neutral interconnect, serving Central and Eastern Oregon.  Metro Ethernet has joined the Internet as a must-have technology. Ethernet provides faster, cheaper service, but must connect to multiple service providers, partners, employees and geographically separated offices for maximum benefit.  COIX interconnects Ethernets and peers IP networks to improve regional access and improves Central and Eastern Oregon's network economy.
